The 2nd Session of the 69th General Assembly has begun. I will continue my work as the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee, and will also continue to serve on the Transportation and Energy Committee. Know that I will continue to do my best to represent you: fighting for enhanced economic security for all Coloradans, strengthening our education system to prepare our students, making college affordable, and helping Coloradans continue to recover from the devastating floods and wildfires that we suffered in 2013.
As Governor Hickenlooper noted at Thursday’s State of the State address, “Colorado does not shut down.” We are enjoying our fourth consecutive year of economic growth and the lowest unemployment levels since 2008, but there is still much work to be done.
As we do our work this session, your ideas, concerns and feedback will continue to guide my decisions. Please continue to stay in touch via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling my Capitol office at 303-866-2932.
Thank you for the privilege of continuing to serve you.
Pete Lee“My fellow Coloradans, despite every unforeseen test, despite everything that was thrown at us, the state of our state is strong.”
